🌸 Free Community Class: Pressed Flower & Fern Lanterns! ✨
Looking to spark your creativity and meet new neighbors? Join local artist Harmony Thiessen for a relaxing, hands-on afternoon of crafting. We will be transforming simple glass jars into beautiful, glowing lanterns using real pressed dried flowers and ferns.
No artistic experience is needed!
This class is designed to help you build your creative muscle in a supportive, fun environment.
Who: Adults and Teens (Ages 14+)
When: Saturday, July 25, 2026 | 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Where: Whatcom Art Center, 1105 11th St, Bellingham, WA 98225
Cost: 100% FREE! (Sponsored by Harmony Thiessen Art, with space donated by WAC)
What to bring: All materials are provided! However, please bring one empty, clean glass jar to use for your lantern. If you have your own fully dried and pressed flat flowers you would like to include, feel free to bring those too!
