Free Comic Book Day, a wildly popular international event, is back - as ever - on the First Saturday of May! On Free Comic Book Day, publishers make new comics available at a really low cost to retailers, and participating retailers GIVE THEM AWAY! As always, we'll be giving comics away and having a great time! We will also be holding an awesome sale, so you can pick up some of those treasures you've had your eye on for a while!Like always, we will also be hosting a Food Drive for Manna House, helping our neighbors here in North Alabama. We will also be holding our annual charity raffle - every canned good or non-perishable food item you bring in (nothing past expiration please) get you one entry into our raffle - and we always have great prizes! So help out your neighbors and win some awesome prizes - what could be better?!
This year, we will have THREE awesome local artists at Haven - Tom, Price, Corbin Delaney, and Jeremy Bronaugh! They will be selling their amazing art, but they'll be doing quick sketches for free for kids!
And, this year, Free Comic Book Day coincides with Star Wars Day, so come out in full force (light side or dark side, you pick!), and a good day it will be!
