It's time for the fantastic annual Free Comic Book Day! This year at Powers Comics we will be giving away thousands of comics! Everyone who comes in no matter how young or old they are will receive 3 comics for FREE! These are brand new ones published just for this special day. Some of the titles include Spider-Man and X-Men from Marvel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers and even a huge surprise from DC Comics kicking off a major event coming later in 2024 and so many others! No purchase is necessary but if you want more than your 3 free comics we will also be having a sale of 25% off on most of our comics, graphic novels, action figures and most other merchandise in the store! We will be open extended hours that day 9am-6pm and we guarantee we will have some free comics up until we close however all of the 2024 FCBD comics are first come first serve with no holds and are in limited numbers.
*Also New York Times Best Selling writer John Jackson Miller will be here signing from 9am-noon! He is best known for his Star Wars novels and comic books among many other things including Star Trek, Iron Man and his newest book Batman Resurrection!
*Busy Bee Confections will be here to sell you their delicious cookies and treats to give you that sugar rush you need to shop!
*Parking is available on the streets surrounding Powers Comics. Please respect the other businesses in the vicinity and only park there if it's permitted. Thank you!
