For Ryan's birthday this year and entering his 22nd year of bonsai practice, all he wants to do is enjoy a day of bonsai! Come one come all, bring your own tree or borrow/buy one to work on for the day. No experience needed, Ryan will supervise and advise you on your tree to start your bonsai journey or help you build on your existing skills. This event will also celebrate the completion of moving the In Vivo Bonsai Nursery to the Old North neighborhood of Columbus this year.A few examples of suitable bonsai operations in May include pruning, wiring/styling, carving deadwood, air layering, and repotting tropicals. DM if you have questions surrounding which tree to bring. Do bring your bonsai tools if you have any.
Also, all who come will receive a free gift of a rooted tropical prebonsai. Beyond this event, Our propagated prebonsai tropicals will be available at a 50% wholesale discount for all the rest of the summer.
