Hello friends Firstly - just a note to say a big thanks to the brilliant Vinnny Peculiar for kicking our 2026 season off in such style. And, of course, to those of you who came along and supported.
Secondly, our next scheduled event - The Amber List on 7th Feb has been postponed due to ongoing problems in the church regarding heating. This will be rearranged for a later date at the request of the band.
Thirdly, instead we have a FREE EVENT ON SAT 28TH FEBRUARY
This will be a book launch for Paul Cookson and his two brand new collections : Psycho Seagull Stole My Dog and Slim Volume.
As well as being part of the Pies and Peas team, Paul is a working poet and this is chance to promote these two new collections as well as promote the Retford Book Festival.
Entry will be free but the usual pies and peas will be available for £5
