FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPORT FOR HOUSTON FAMILIES
Reach One 713 and Wash Bodega invite Houston families to a free back-to-school backpack giveaway and free laundry day in Southwest Houston.
Children can receive free backpacks filled with school supplies, while families can use Wash Bodega’s washers and dryers at no charge during the event window.

WHAT FAMILIES CAN RECEIVE
• A free backpack filled with school supplies for each registered school-age child, while supplies last
• Free washers and dryers from 7:00 AM until noon
• A scheduled 30-minute backpack pickup window
• Indoor cooling, water and bilingual English/Spanish assistance
• A welcoming, family-friendly community event
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The event is open to local families with school-age children across Southwest Houston and surrounding neighborhoods, including Westbury, Brays Oaks, Fondren, Meyerland, Sharpstown, Gulfton and nearby communities.
There are no income forms and no complicated qualification process.
Registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-up families are welcome while supplies last.
HOW EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION WORKS
Place one order for your household and reserve one free backpack ticket for each child who needs a backpack.
During registration, provide the requested information for every child so our team can prepare the appropriate backpack and supplies.
Please do not submit separate orders through Eventbrite and Wash Bodega for the same family.
FREE LAUNDRY INFORMATION
Washers and dryers are free from 7:00 AM until noon.
Please bring your own detergent. Machines are first-come, first-served and are subject to availability and normal event flow. Backpack pickup does not begin until 8:00 AM.
VOLUNTEERS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Local businesses, churches, organizations and individuals are invited to volunteer, donate supplies or sponsor backpacks.

Wash Bodega is the host and event sponsor, providing the location and free laundry.
Reach One 713 is the nonprofit community partner organizing the backpack drive and handling charitable donations. Reach One 713 is a Houston 501(c)(3), EIN 85-1291895.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Registration does not guarantee a backpack after available inventory has been exhausted.
• Families who register after capacity is reached may be placed on the waitlist.
• Photos and video may be taken during this public community event.
• Registration information is used by Wash Bodega Laundry and Reach One 713 to administer the event and is not sold.
• Bilingual assistance will be available.
