In this interdisciplinary conversation blending history, science, and art, Professor Pablo Gómez, Professor Gabriela Soto Laveaga, and artist Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez will examine Euroamerican measuring systems, and their role in constructing racial and power-based hierarchies that persist in Latin America and the U.S.
