Every Sunday I start setting up at 8 am to have things ready by 10 am. On average about 100 people stop by to paint until 4 pm. I would stay longer, but the City places $63 parking violation tickets in their parking lots if you stay past 6 pm. I take 8 folding tables, 5 construction step stools with foam knee pads for sitting. I also take 8 paint buckets with cushioned lids that swivel. 8 easels, 50 stencils to choose from, crayons, color pencils, card stock for toddlers. For older kids and adults I have 8”x8” canvases that I buy from Dollar Tree and Staples. Many people paint the beach scene or just freestyle what ever their imagination comes up with. If you would like to volunteer that would be helpful. 1 or 2 hours at a time. I created an Instagram account to place all the painting and to show off the artist. I am experimenting with converting the art work into stickers. Eventually I would like to make magnets out of them, but the equipment costs about $2,000. I supply cold water bottles under ice in an ice chest and some light snacks. What ever is not eaten is given away to the homeless that always check in with me when I am breaking things down to place back into my van.Joseph
