FREE ART CLASSES FOR CHILDREN to begin on Tuesdays May through June 2026 9am-12pm at the Matlacha Community Park, 4577 Pine Island Rd NW in the Pine Island Art Association building. The class on Tuesday May 12th will be at Barnhill Seafood because the community park will be closed due to road paving.- Each child to bring their own art supplies, artist quality if possible
- Bring something you are working on, or an inspiration piece such as a photo, or object.
- All age children able to concentrate and work independently
- Parent or guardian must stay on premises
- No pre registration
- Wear something you don't mind getting paint on
Classes are each Tuesday beginning in May, from 9am till 12pm. Bring lunch, or a snack and something to drink
There will be a critique at the end of each class so that the students may discuss their piece with the group using ‘constructive criticism’ to talk about the work.
