We will have a special program on Saturday May 30, when we will be hosting Angler Education Training from 8 am to 12:30 pm.
Have you always wanted to learn more about fishing? Do you have an interest in helping families learn how to fish? Would you like to take your own family or grandchildren fishing, but do not know where to start?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then this training is for you.

This fun, free, hands-on workshop is open to Texas residents 18 or older interested in learning and teaching fishing skills in their communities. No fishing experience required! After certification, the program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce others to fishing. Ideal for fishing clubs, teachers, scout, or youth group leaders, after school or camp staff and community volunteers. TEA-approved CPE available for teachers.

ALL participants must register and have a volunteer profile prior to the workshop in order to become certified Angler Education Instructors.

Willow Fork Park was developed by Willow Fork Drainage District in collaboration with Katy ISD and is located at the northwest corner of 99/Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd., north of Cinco Ranch High School.
