Attacks on immigrants, reproductive freedom, workers, democracy, and basic human dignity are escalating. Silence and business as usual are no longer options.
On January 20 at 2 PM, people across the country will take part in the Free America Walkout—a coordinated action to step away from normal routines and refuse authoritarianism together.
📍 Our local action
Those of us with the privilege and ability to be physically present will gather on the sidewalk along Wilma Rudolph Blvd from 2–5 PM as part of this nationwide walkout.
This is a peaceful, visible presence meant to show that Clarksville is paying attention—and not backing down.
Bring your signs.
Bring your voice.
Bring your rage if you need to—no need to make anything new.

A core principle of this action is a commitment to nonviolent protest.
We expect all participants to:
Act lawfully
De-escalate any potential confrontation
Respect one another and the public
Weapons of any kind—including those legally permitted—should not be brought to this event.
💡 Can’t be there in person?
That matters—and you still matter.
Not everyone can walk out of work or attend in person. There are multiple ways to participate, including digital actions, solidarity posts, coordinated silence, and legislative pressure at the same time.
