Please join the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Whelen Engineering to celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 2026 by enjoying free entry to the National Law Enforcement Museum. Visitors will get to experience:- K-9 officer demonstration at 2:00pm.
- More than 800 artifacts, spanning 300 years of American law enforcement history.
- Immersive exhibits, such as 9-1-1 Operations, the Forensics area, the pop culture collection, and the screening room for unique opportunities to see law enforcement in a new light!
- Service and Sacrifice — A truly transformational film experience that explores the soul and purpose of law enforcement officers and their families beginning at noon every hour.
- National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial — Located across the street from the museum, the memorial is the nation’s monument to the 24,412 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty; each name hand engraved over the span of 30 years.
- In the Pictures: Portrayals of Law Enforcement in Film and Television – Located in the museum’s DuPont Gallery, In the Pictures explores 80 years of law enforcement in film and television, showcasing iconic portrayals from Dragnet to Dirty Harry through images from the Museum’s collection. Exhibit is open through Spring 2026.
Free admission is open to everyone. Space is limited; advanced registration is highly recommended.
