Supported by SG Enable, this 3 three-hour INTERACTIVE workshop series is held at Enabling Academy Classroom 4-1& 4-2, Enabling Village, 20 Lengkok Bahru, S159053.
Designed & facilitated by Ms. Choo Kah Ying, co-founder of A Mother’s Wish (www.amotherswish.com.sg) and mother of a 29-year-old profoundly autistic artist (an autistic individual with limited to no speech), it covers the following topics:
Workshop 1: An Autistic Individual’s Life Story: An Experiential Empathy Scenario Lens for Caregivers
Workshop 2: Understanding Meltdowns: Root Causes and Strategies for Prevention & Alleviation
Workshop 3: Running the Autism Parenting Marathon: Evolving Approaches and Strategies from Childhood to Adulthood
