As a member of the Peachtree City Sewing Club, you are invited to my FREE "get to know your machine and start sewing" class!
CLICK ON "GOING" if you will be there. Or pm me.
PLEASE READ this paragraph REGARDING EVENT AGE REQUIREMENT
Due to the space limitation and lack of space for chaperones, this event has an age requirement. Sewers must be 16 and up to attend this event. I teach sewing to people younger than 16, but require a chaperone, so I will plan an event later this summer where we can have chaperones have a comfortable space while the sewers sew! I also teach private lessons also so if you want something sooner pm me.
Here are the group event details:
DATE: Saturday June 20th
TIME: 3:30-5:30
LOCATION: Peachtree City Library Floy Farr Room (downstairs- the room that is used for early voting)
WHAT TO BRING: A FULL-SIZE sewing machine (not mini), a spool of thread, a bobbin for your machine, scissors
This will start at promptly 3:30 and we will go over machine basics including:
Supplies you ACTUALLY NEED
How to thread your machine
Common issues and how to solve them
Basics about pins, needles, and thread
Basic machine maintenance
Fabric basics
How to pick projects
We will make something super simple like a napkin (no worries, I will bring fabric!)
You will receive a coupon at the meeting for a FREE 1-hour private lesson with me!
IF you cannot make it to this meeting, PM me and I will set you up with a free 1-hour lesson.
Comment or RSVP if you plan to join us!
