Formerly based in Nashville, Americana duo Freddy & Francine now call Tucson their home. With voices reminiscent of Aretha Franklin and Van Morrison, their songs blend soul, R&B, folk, and Americana with a modern yet timeless appeal to all ages.
Their 2020 album "I Am Afraid to Die!" showcases their own songwriting and harmony‑rich arrangements. In 2022, they headlined the Plaza Stage at the Tucson Folk Festival, and began making their presence known in the Southwest in a big way. Over years of touring throughout the U.S. and Canada, they’ve built a loyal following with deeply felt performances and lyrical storytelling.
