It's time for a little less conversation as there can be only one event you simply have to be at this year - the ATFV Elvis versus Freddie Night in aid of Oystermouth Primary School.They are two TITANS of the music world, they are the royalty of rock: Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, and Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. But which was the bigger, better star? Tough call...but we want to find out and we are going to have a whole load of fun doing it!
Our venue couldn't be better: Sessions by Mumbles Brewery is located right next to Swansea Castle, fitting for our face off of rock royalty! And everyone there is committed to delivering the perfect party atmosphere for all you rock revellers to enjoy.
The night includes DJ Dave Hixson (who does a mean Elvis impersonation!) bringing us all the hits from both artists along with some karaoke so you can belt out Jailhouse Rock or Under Pressure for yourself!
We'll have live music from two bands/artists with a heavy emphasis on Elvis and Queen material - we'll update this overview when we have those acts booked.
And whilst this is a FREE ENTRY event there will be a Elvis/Freddie themed raffle and auction so that we can raise a little money to help Oystermouth Primary School fund the creation of a new sensory classroom on site.
