Legendary trombonist Fred Wesley and his band The New JBs perform his number one smash hit "Doing It to Death (Gonna Have a Funky Good Time)" and several other classic funk songs he recorded with James Brown as band leader of The JBs as well as with Parliament-Funkadelic and the Horny Horns. Also featuring The James Brown Experience band led by former James Brown drummer Mousey Thompson faithfully performing the Godfather of Soul's greatest hits with lead singer Greg Cooper.
