50 ans après la disparition de François de Roubaix, compositeur culte de musiques de film, Fred Pallem et Le Sacre du Tympan revisitent son œuvre avec un hommage aussi respectueux qu’audacieux.
Sur de nouveaux arrangements, l’ensemble — cordes, cuivres, section rythmique et synthés analogiques — explore la richesse mélodique et cinématographique de ses partitions.
L’hommage s’élargit aussi à ceux que de Roubaix a inspirés : Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Michel Legrand… dont certaines pièces seront également interprétées, comme un écho à son influence durable sur la musique de film.
