Franny Reese State Park and Poughkeepsie hike

Dear North American mammals, it's time to come back to Franny Reese!
This is the easiest hike of our group.
We will enjoy the view of the Hudson river from the longest walkway bridge on the way back.
The event will be followed by a well-deserved feast of chicken wings or Italian pasta at a nearby tavern.
This is not a loop walk!

**** HOW TO GET THERE and BACK ***
Metro-North train:
Way to: Grand Central to Poughkeepsie train station (look for 8:53 AM train).
Way back: Poughkeepsie train station to Grand Central (look for 5:49 PM train).
By car: ask a group if someone is driving and can give you a ride.

Total distance about 10 miles
Total elevation 1063 ft.
Please don't come late as the train will NOT wait for you

Please bring enough water and food for whole day
We do not recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers
We suggest getting train tickets in advance at Grand Central station or through the MTA app
