About this Event
Frankie's Jazz Jam is now at The Inkwell in Fernandina Beach. Sundays starting at 5:00. First jam will be Sunday September 13, 2026!
- All jazz performers and listeners are welcome.
- Drums, keyboard, amps, microphones, and speakers will be provided. Just bring your instrument.
- Songs played will be taken form the Real Book 1, and select FJJ songs. These charts will be there so no need to print the. If you like, Frankie will be happy to give you these charts as PDF files that you can load on your tablet and practice on your own to prepare.
- Reading basic notation will be necessary.
- We will be sticking to traditional jazz standards.
- Vocalists should contact Frankie for a list of songs we have and access to the MP3 files so you can prepare.
- The event is free for all, but the Inkwell offers food and drinks so please plan on grabbing dinner and/or drinks while you're there.
