Big Band nights return to Frankie's Jazz Club on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, join us Monday Nov. 4th for the VANCOUVER LEGACY JAZZ ORCHESTRAThe Vancouver Legacy Jazz Orchestra, founded in 2015 by Michael Kim and Fred Stride, stands as a dynamic 17-piece ensemble. With a mission to revive the legacy of world-class composers, VLJO hosts mesmerizing tribute concerts. Emerging after a hiatus from 2020-2023, the orchestra is dedicated to infusing new life into timeless classics as well as rarely performed gems. This musical journey, featuring Vancouver's premier jazz talents, reflects a commitment to the rich traditions of jazz while embracing innovation and artistic exploration.
