Franke Fox Five

Where: Franke Park BMX Race Park Parking lot

3411 Sherman Blvd Fort Wayne, IN 46808

When: Sunday, September 11th at 1 PM.

What to expect:

All runners, and the fox launch at 1pm in the parking lot next to the BMX track. Finish before the fox to win cool prizes.

Runners will follow a bike lead on five miles of technical dirt trail running in the Franke Park trail network. Trail turns will be marked with small flags. The trail can be tricky so be sure to watch for the turns.

There is a small stream crossing. Be sure to bring a dry pair of shoes!

The trail network is shared with mountain bikes, so be aware and allow cyclists to pass.

The Fox Franke 5 is a free untimed fun-run and open to all participants. Use your smart phone fitness app or fitness wearable to track your time and then share your adventure on social media.

Post-run awards begin at 2Toms Brewing at 4 pm. All ages welcome

Please brig a canned good to donate! Harvest Food Bank distributes millions of pounds of food each year directly to the public Help them to meet the needs of kids, seniors, Veterans, and families in need of assistance.

The Getting Miles Athletic Club welcomes you to the first annual GMAC Fun Run Series!

The GMAC Fun Run Series offers four fun events. Join us for three 5Ks(ish) and one trail 5-miler. We offer these events as free un-timed fun runs and we encourage participation from walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.

Three of the four events will be hosted in the downtown Fort Wayne area. The fourth event (Franke Fox Five) is a trail run and will follow five miles of pretty technical trail in Franke Park.

Use your smart phone fitness app or fitness wearable to track your time and then share your adventure on social media. Complete and share three of the four events and win a cool finisher medal after that last event.

The route for each event will be posted to the STRAVA fitness app the day before the event. Routes will also be posted on game day.
