Saturday, February 25, 2023, comedians and real-life best friends Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton (aka Frangela) return to Portland for two shows to record a new album for K*ll Rock Stars!
Known for their own unique and hilarious brand of political and pop culture commentary, Frangela has made numerous TV and film appearances, including NBC’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Bring the Funny, The Today Show and Dateline, CNN’s Don Lemon Show, Showbiz Tonight and Headline News, MSNBC’s AM Joy and VH1’s Best Week Ever, as well as the hit films He’s Just Not That Into You and Slow Learners. They were featured on The Oprah Show on the “Best Standups in America” episode and are recurring fan favorites on HULU’S Quick Draw. They have also have written and produced shows for Lifetime Television, VH1 and Game Show Network.
Recently, Frangela has appeared on Stephanie Miller’s “Sexy Liberal Resistance Tour” playing to sold out houses all over the country. Their popular podcast “The Final Word” with Frangela and their debut K*ll Rock Stars album, “RESIST!” are available on ITunes.
