Beyond the Table, a conversation born out of gaps in Cleveland’s arts funding ecosystem, builds pathways for artists and underserved communities by commissioning new work, training artists on the job, and ensuring equitable pay and ownership. Through research, documentation, and public-facing artistic output, the initiative creates evidence for alternative funding models that treat creative labor as skilled work and artists as part of the regional workforce.
