FRAMILY 5K benefiting Friends of Mill Ridge Park

It's the second-annual Framily 5K at Mill Ridge Park -- for friends and family and leashed pets, too.

The grassland loop trail starts and ends at the new Mill Ridge Regional Park, and meanders among the meadows, hilltops, trees, cedar glades, and ponds and streams.

You can walk, jog, run, or roll (in wagons for little ones) for just over 3 miles with your leashed pets, too. Plus, there’ll be the option to use the quarter-mile paved loop trail around the great lawn. There is a timed option (9 a.m.) and leisure option (9:30 a.m.)

The Framily 5K proceeds create park programs and parkland care by Friends of Mill Ridge Park. Participation is free while premium participation is just $35 and includes an official time certificate, Framily 5K long-sleeve t-shirt, professional Framily 5K photograph, and a Friends of Mill Ridge Park water bottle and hip pack. Refreshments, DJ music, and first aid supplies will be provided by Friends of Mill Ridge Park.
