This is a foundation woodwork course, suitable for beginners with full focus on hand tools, and will introduce you to the materials, tools, skills and techniques used in furniture making.No power tools are used in this course.
You will receive extensive hands-on experience with tutor Martin over 12 weeks, teaching you the core basics of woodwork using hand tools and includes tricks of the trade to make your work easier and safer. You will develop and apply your new hand tool skills for the duration of the course using hardwood to make a picture frame from scratch.
Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
