Folk art flowers are always a good idea! In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll explore how Fraktur artists used pattern and color to create colorful tulips and make them into custom bookplates. Participants will start with their choice of a tulip template and then shown how to create a small finished piece in their own individual style. All ability levels are welcome, ages 13-100.
All materials are included in the tuition. Emily will bring special watercolor sets made specifically for Fraktur that each participant can use for the duration of the workshop. Students can purchase a set of watercolors from Emily to take home for $20.
