• In this five-week class for adults led by local photographer Chase Brantley, we'll slow down, learning the essential foundations behind all photography (digital and analog), focusing on the present, and capturing beautiful, subtle moments of friends or family. We'll also cover manual camera operations, analog film, frame composition, history (groundbreaking photographers), and creative/healthy shooting habits.• If you're a digital photographer, you are welcome to join this course with a digital camera (analog camera not required). Learning from an analog mindset will give you greater operational mastery when you return to the fully digital format.
• To partake you will need to bring a camera (digital or analog) with manual controls (most DSLR cameras have manual controls). If you are shooting with an analog camera, you will need 5 rolls of B&W film ISO 400 (KODAK TRI-X 400 is a great choice).
