As we prepare to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, I’m excited to announce that Dardenne Prairie will host our city’s first-ever Fourth of July Parade and Community Celebration in 2026. This will be a special moment for our community — honoring our nation’s founding, celebrating local pride, and creating a new family-friendly tradition for generations to come.
We’re inviting:
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
Bring your families, friends, and neighborhoods together! Decorate your golf carts, classic cars, side-by-sides, bikes, wagons, strollers — anything with wheels! Patriotic themes are encouraged and creativity is welcomed.
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 & 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Showcase what makes Dardenne Prairie great. Decorate a vehicle, create a small float, hand out goodies, or simply join the procession to show your community pride. This is a great opportunity to connect with residents in a fun and positive way.
𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬
We would be honored to welcome veterans’ organizations, military support groups, VFW and American Legion posts, scouting groups, and first responder organizations to participate as we celebrate the freedoms and sacrifices that helped shape our nation over the past 250 years.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 & 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬
We also welcome local elected officials, community leaders, and public servants from throughout the region who would like to participate in celebrating America’s 250th birthday and the spirit of our community.
While there are some fantastic Fourth of July parades throughout the region, many have become very large, crowded, and require families to arrive extremely early just to find parking or a place to sit. Our goal is to create a more local, accessible, and relaxed hometown alternative right here in Dardenne Prairie.
We’re intentionally planning for a slightly later start time so families can enjoy the celebration without needing to be out before sunrise. Whether you want to participate in the parade or simply come out as a spectator, we hope this becomes a fun and convenient tradition for our residents and neighboring communities alike.
More details on parade registration, festival activities, concerts, food vendors, and fireworks will be announced soon.
