To honor the 250th anniversary of the country's founding, the Preservation Society will open the Robert Long House on July 4th for a birthday party celebrating the publication of the Declaration of Independence, which proclaimed the principles on which our new nation would be established.
Spend the afternoon with us at the historic Robert Long House for a festive celebration of Independence Day. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we'll have refreshments, birthday cake, fiddle music, patriotic decorations, and a special reading of the Declaration of Independence by Baltimore Town Crier Steven Lampredi.
It's a great chance to enjoy the holiday with friends and neighbors while celebrating in Baltimore's oldest surviving urban residence and its beautiful garden. ✯
