Philip Kane is an author and poet, a storyteller in the oral tradition, and an artist. He is a founding member of the London Surrealist Group. His writing and art have been published and exhibited in Britain, Europe, the USA and the Middle East; and was apparently a key influence on the establishment of an active Surrealist group in the Middle East with members in Cairo, Alexandria, Syria and Lebanon. He has also trained as a community organiser with the Rosa Luxemburg Institute (based in Berlin), was a community arts worker with Arts In Medway during the 1980s and was Creative Writing tutor at Medway Adult Education for 25 years.
He has been a contributor to The Gorgon's Guide to Magical Resistance (Revelore 2022), to various well-regarded anthologies of poetry, fiction and essays (eg Transformations, Six Days of Hunger, The Industry of Letters, Surrealists and Outsiders, The Somnamulist Footprints, Naming the Goddess, Naming the God); and to many journals.
Philip's newest work is the poetry collection The Decipherment of Nature.

Jessica Taggart Rose is a poet concerned with humanity, nature and how they interact. Her debut pamphlet, The river has no colour, is out in October 2024 with The New Menard Press.
