The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is excited to host our Fourth Annual Community Hero Day for the Aurora community on Saturday, October 3 from 10am-2pm.
Community Hero Day is presented by First Alert and made possible due to the generous support of our sponsors!
This event allows citizens of our region to get up close and personal with vehicles that serve our community on a daily basis. Additionally, the event will feature safety education and community services from numerous providers in our community.
NEW this year! Live Fire Demonstration at 1pm! Learn first-hand how quickly fires can spread as well as the importance of fire sprinklers in saving lives and property. Sponsored by the Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board.
What can you expect?
~ 22 vehicles from a variety of community heroes!
~ Free fire truck rides by Mrs. O'Leary's Fire Truck Tours.
~ Safety information and booths from our Community Partners.
~ 10 local artists and artisans.
~ Food available for purchase from Dr. GIllerson's Emergency Meat Trailer.
~ Pop-up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic.
~ Live DJ playing family friendly music.
~ Giveaways, while supplies last.
