Sovereignty was never ceded.On June 23rd, FOURSIGHT 003 brings to its new home Ancient World it's first interstate artists of 2023.
Jake Amy [LIVE] is a Naarm/Melbourne based session pianist and has worked with an eclectic array of Australian and international artists including Ambrose Akinmusire, Kaiit, Bumpy, Wafia, Ausecuma Beats and Gordon Koang. Jake’s solo project delivers a raw and energetic fusion between hip-slinging afrobeat syncopation and dark house colours. A diverse amalgamation of some of Australia’s leading improvisers, this exclusive lineup will consist of Alexander Flood on drums, and Stephen Lane on bass.
Alongside Jake on selector duties for June 23rd are renowned Naarm/Melbourne based artist Emma Volard [DJ] and FOURSIGHT co-founder/curator Luminar [DJ].

FOURSIGHT is a Kaurna-based collective hosting parties with a focus on blending DJs with performances from Antipodean artists looking to push the boundaries of live soul, jazz and improvised dance music. Inspired by the sprawling scenes of Melbourne’s own future-soul and jazz doof sounds, as well as the resurgence of London’s broken-beat underground, FOURSIGHT aims to bring a fresh and unique selection of dance music to its events.
