Christopher Luna is a poet, editor, teacher, writing coach, and artist who served as the Inaugural Poet Laureate of Clark County, WA from 2013-2017. He feels joyful when creating or experiencing art, helping writers achieve their vision, and when gathering in person with like-minded friends and community members. Christopher and Morgan Paige co-host the anti-fascist, LGBTQ+ friendly, all ages and uncensored Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic, founded by Christopher in 2004. Christopher’s books include Voracity, Exchanging Wisdom: A Guide for Parents of the Autonomous (with Angelo Luna), and Message from the Vessel in a Dream. In 2025 he received a Humanities Washington Award for his contributions to poetry and literature in Southwest Washington.

Brittany Mishra is a poet exploring memory, mental illness, politics, parenthood, and the many contradictions of love and belonging. Brittany’s poetry has won The Heartland Review’s 2020 Poetry Prize. She was a runner up in the 2024 Tennessee Williams Festival Poetry Contest. Her work is forthcoming in Pleiades and can be found in Poet Lore, Calyx Press, Spoon River Poetry Review, and many other journals. She lives in southwest Washington state with her husband, daughter, and big extended family.

Shawn Aveningo Sanders shares the creative life with her husband in Beaverton, where they run a small press, The Poetry Box. Over 200 of Shawn’s poems have appeared worldwide, most recently in ONE ART, contemporary haibun online, McQueen’s Quinterly, Sheila-Na-Gig, Cloudbank, and Love Is for All of Us. Shawn is a multiple Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Touchstone Award nominee and has won prizes from the Oregon Poetry Association. Her newest book Pockets (MoonPath Press) was a finalist in Concrete Wolf’s Chapbook Contest. Claudia Saleeby Savage is an Arab American poet, essayist, and mama with MS whose writing and performance explores displacement and the landscape of the body. She is the author of first you must destroy the world (First Matter Press, fall 2025), metal used for beauty alone (for print + voice), Bruising Continents (Spuyten Duyvil), and The Last One Eaten, with recent print work in Poetry Northwest, Nimrod, About Place, and River Teeth. A Pushcart, Best of the Net, and Best Poets nominee, Saleeby Savage has received support from RACC, Ucross, Jentel, The Black Earth Institute (emeritus fellow), MARS, and the Atlantic Center for the Arts. She creates alone and with her music-text duo Thick In The Throat Honey. She lives with her experimental musician husband, daughter, and vocal cat in the Pacific Northwest.
