Fountaine-Neimy Butterfly Collection Visit

Experience an exclusive, behind-the-scenes visit to the Norwich Castle Study Centre for a close-up viewing of the world-renowned Fountaine-Neimy Butterfly Collection. Featuring over 22,000 exquisitely preserved specimens collected by the extraordinary Victorian adventurer, Margaret Fountaine, we hope to focus this visit on viewing spectacular swallowtails, the elusive scarce vapourer, and beautiful magpie moths.

There is a separate entrance to the Study Centre at the castle, which is down the hill, opposite Anglia House, Agricultural Hall Plain.
