🚦 Meeting Topic Announcement
Based on the overwhelming feedback from our first community meeting, traffic will be the primary focus of our September 10 meeting. It was clear that traffic safety and congestion are among the biggest concerns facing Fountain City residents and business owners.
Over the coming days, we'll be posting a new questionnaire where you can tell us about the traffic issues you're experiencing near your home, business, or throughout Fountain City. Whether it's speeding, dangerous intersections, poor visibility, signal timing, pedestrian safety, or other concerns, we want to hear from you.
Your responses will help us identify the most pressing issues and ensure we invite the appropriate city departments and decision-makers who can address these concerns directly.
Our goal is to make this meeting as productive as possible by focusing on solutions that matter most to our community. Thank you for continuing to stay involved—we look forward to hearing from you!

💙 A quick reminder: Keep reporting issues!
One of the biggest takeaways from our first meeting was that the City relies heavily on reports from residents. If we want to see change, we have to continue documenting the problems we see.
Please continue using 311, the My Knoxville app, or the appropriate reporting channels for non-emergency concerns such as:
• Homeless encampments
• Illegal dumping and trash accumulation
• Broken street lights
• Missing or damaged street signs
• Non-functioning speed feedback signs
• Code violations
• Damage to our parks and green spaces
• Encampments within parks
• Other city maintenance issues that have gone unresolved
Every report helps create the data the City uses to prioritize resources and respond to problems. Even if you've reported something before, don't assume someone else has. Consistent reporting matters.
Our first meeting showed just how much this community cares. Thank you to everyone who has stayed engaged, reported issues, and continued advocating for Fountain City. We hope to see you on September 10 as we keep moving forward—together.
