Welcome to Founders: Ethiopian Legacy's Future of Entrepreneurship Conference & Pitch Competition!
Join us at 1051 S Fairfax Ave on May 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) or virtually for a day filled with insightful sessions, entrepreneurial discussions, and networking opportunities.
This event is designed to help you navigate the ever-evolving landscape of entrepreneurship and equip you with the skills needed for your business to thrive, particularily with embedding social impact.
This year's Founders theme is "Addis Angels," where we will be recognizing six social enterprise founders based in Los Angeles of Ethiopian descent that are making an impact either locally or globally.
Don't miss out on this chance to connect with industry experts and like-minded individuals. Perhaps even participate in the pitch competiton. The prize amount for the winner of the competition is $500.
Pitch Competition
The pitch competition has two rounds: the first round is a submission of the PowerPoint deck to [email protected] by Sunday, May 10th. Announcements of teams selected to advance to the 2nd and final round at Founders on Saturday, May 16th, will be notified on Monday, May 11th.
Presentation times will be 10 minutes each, folowed by 5 minuts of questions and answers.
The registration form includes the option to sign-up for the pitch competition. Team must select a team captain and the captain must enter the information of all team members in the form.

Launching during the conference, sign-up for a cohort model three-session series titled Entrepreneurship-LaunchPad on the website www.ethiopianlegacy.com for a small fee.
