The National park Service will celebrate its 109th year connecting the public with our nation's natural and historic treasures on Monday August 25, 2025. We will celebrate #NPSFoundersDay a bit earlier on August 23rd with an opportunity to help us preserve the central feature of our park, Stones River National Cemetery.
We need volunteers to help us clean historic national cemetery headstones so they remain legible and intact for visitors today and in the future. If you are in need of volunteer hours for school, are looking for a way to give back to our community, or want to honor the sacrifices made on behalf of our nation, this is a great place to start!
