What Is the Founder Action Table?

As a Calgary Innovation Coalition (CIC) member or ecosystem partner, your organization plays a critical role in guiding early-stage startups. The CIC Founder Action Table brings our network together to actively remove barriers for local tech and innovation entrepreneurs.

This is not a traditional pitch night. Rather than pitching for investment, a curated cohort of early-stage founders will take the stage for 5 minutes to outline a single, pressing business roadblock, such as customer discovery, IP strategy, monetization, or scaling.

Your role as a "Problem Solver" is to offer direct, tactical feedback, point to relevant ecosystem resources, and make warm introductions on the spot.

We are always looking for promising tech and innovation founders who could benefit from the collective expertise of the CIC network. If you know an entrepreneur working through an active business hurdle, invite them to apply for a 5-minute presentation spot at an upcoming session.

Application Deadline: Friday, November 13th

If selected, you’ll receive support preparing your pitch and a summary of insights after the event. Participants will hear back from us by Friday, November 20th.
