About this Event
Join us for this transformative workshop for educators diving into critical topics essential for fostering inclusive classrooms. Explore equitable teaching practices, cultural humility, and societal inequities impacting education and our broader society. We will explore specific topics such as prejudice, discrimination, and strategies to mitigate microaggressions while exploring our own social identities. Learn more about the power dynamics that exist in society and in schools between dominant and minoritized groups while harnessing funds of knowledge for holistic student support. Take a step toward equitable teaching by joining us and learning new content knowledge you may not have known!
