We all need to be able to talk about consent and how to build consent culture. Most of us have learned that 'no means no' and 'yes means yes', but consent goes way beyond that. Join us for a conversation about the foundations of consent so you can practice consent more in all aspects of your daily life. Whether they're about a first hug, a new relationship, a workplace, or sex.
The content of this workshop is brought to Other Nature by The Consent Academy is an educational collective founded in 2016 in Seattle, WA, currently with staff and volunteers all over the world. We believe consent is a part of everyday life, and its practice builds stronger, safer, and more connected communities. Our approach incorporates disciplines of psychology, sociology, public health, psychotherapy, and personal coaching to create a systemic view of how consent impacts everyone, from the bedroom to the boardroom.
Violet started using dirty talk as a way of supporting herself to enjoy sex and intimacy more fully! She has been running Dirty Talk workshops since 2019 as a long term research project for herself. She is trained in effective consent practices and belongs to consent and accountability working groups.
