Join us for a two part series on Biodynamics and Sacred Agriculture!
This first class introduces the foundational principles of biodynamic agriculture, exploring how cosmic rhythms, elemental forces, and plant intelligence shape life on Earth.
Learn the basics of the biodynamic calendar and how to apply its wisdom to your garden or farm!
We'll engage in hands-on observation practices to sharpen your awareness of the living world. This is a beautiful practice in land stewardship, reciprocity, and how to more deeply connect to the natural world around you.
Pt 1 - Experiential exploration in the garden to work hands on with a biodynamic preparation plant like nettle or yarrow and facilitate an observation on how we can sharpen our senses to the natural world.
Pt 2 - Explore agriculture and the biodynamic preparations through both a scientific and spiritual lens. From the decomposition of herbs in animal organs to the dynamics of structured water and vortex stirring, this class will explain the 'why' and 'how' of using the biodynamic preparations in your gardens and farms.

Meet Your Host-
Jared Minori is a young farmer, educator, student, and current Development Director at Sustainable Settings. Jared has experience managing dynamic farm operations and educating others on biodynamics, permaculture design, compost making, animal husbandry, and more. He has managed vegetable and animal operations in Pennsylvania, a vineyard and olive orchard in California, and has managed Sustainable Settings here in Carbondale. He loves to think about how cultivating healthy soil can nourish our communities and enliven our food systems.
