The Florence County Library System, will be the sole venue in the Pee Dee for the traveling exhibit Foundations of a Revolution: South Carolina 1775-1777, featuring original state historical documents from the era of the Revolutionary War on Thursday, May 28. Award winning historian Dr. D. Andrew Johnson will present a historical overview of the documents at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon at the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library in Florence In addition to the original documents, the event will showcase reproductions of Revolutionary War artifacts including a uniform from the period. These authentic reproductions are provided courtesy of the SC 250 Commission and the Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau
