Foundational Yoga Teacher Training with Circle Yoga Shala — A 200-hour Teacher Training
April–October 2027 | Empowered Spaces | St. Louis
Empowered Spaces is proud to host Circle Yoga Shala’s Foundational Yoga Teacher Training, a 200-hour training designed to give you a strong foundation in the principles and practices that underlie all styles of Yoga.
Four intensive weekends. Three teachers. One lineage-rooted foundation.
Rather than training you in a single style, Circle Yoga Shala teaches the foundational elements that can be adapted across styles and practices. You’ll explore asana, vinyasa, pranayama, bandha, drushti, biomechanics, attention, philosophy, sequencing, and authentic teaching.
The training is for people who want to:
• deepen and sustain their own Yoga practice
• understand Yoga beyond asana
• develop the skills to teach with confidence and authenticity
• serve specific communities through Yoga
• develop an adaptable approach rather than being limited to one style
• build a stronger foundation after completing a previous teacher training
Previous teaching experience is not required.
Training dates
Intensive 1: April 1–4, 2027
Intensive 2: May 27–30, 2027
Intensive 3: July 22–25, 2027
Intensive 4: September 30–October 3, 2027
Location: Empowered Spaces, St. Louis, Missouri
Tuition: $2,650 pay in full / $732.50 per intensive
Early-bird deposit: $200 when paid by February 15, 2027
Want to experience the approach first?
Circle Yoga Shala will also offer The Whole of Yoga: A Foundational and Experiential Weekend at Empowered Spaces in January 2027.
The weekend is open to anyone and does not require enrollment in the teacher training. You can also enroll in the teacher training without attending the weekend.
This is a Circle Yoga Shala program, taught by their faculty and hosted within the Empowered Spaces community.
