Spiritual Capital, the concept of nurturing individuals’ intrinsic spiritual value, can serve as a crucial protective factor in promoting client well-being.
This workshop will explore how clinicians, agencies, and institutions can help clients accrue Spiritual Capital through spiritual practices, organized religion, or counseling. Attendees will learn how to integrate this emerging concept into their work, explore its relevance for marginalized populations, and develop trauma-informed, LGBTQ+-affirming practices to support clients' spiritual well-being.
