Foster Park Bird Walk

Join Jean Ferguson, walk leader and director at large, for a walk where smooth paved trails are an option and so is stepping off the path for a closer look. You'll find benches to sit and rest or you can turn around and head back to the parking lot anytime on this walk. There are no restrooms at this walk site. Jean is famous for birding by ear and this park is a great setting for that. Beginning and experienced birds will enjoy this walk as this linear trail attracts many migrants thanks to a small stream and wooded canopy. The park is located at Trail Lake Dr. in south Fort Worth. The walk usually lasts 1 to 2 hours.
Start Time for June through September is 7:30 AM.
Start time for October through May is 8:30 AM.
Dress for the current weather conditions, and bring water and snacks if wanted.
