Join us for an engaging talk with Dan Bowen, Chair of the Vancouver Island Paleontological Society (VIPS), as he explores the major fossil discoveries of Vancouver Island. This hour-long presentation will highlight the fascinating world of paleontology and showcase significant findings from all around Vancouver Island. Dan Bowen has been an integral part of the VIPS since 1992, serving on the Executive Committee for three decades and holding the position of Chair for the past 17 years. His experience as a director on the BCPA and his role as field trip coordinator have enriched the paleontological knowledge of many. We invite you to join us for this enlightening event and support the ongoing work of our local paleontological community.
