Explore the fascinating fossil history of Southwest Idaho, 1pm, Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG), 2455 Old Penitentiary Rd. Boise. This presentation highlights work at the classic Bruneau Woodpile site, along with collections from the Owyhee Gem and Mineral Society and the Evans Gem and Mineral Collection from the 1950’s. See incredible examples of fossils and discover how they help scientists piece together Idaho’s environments throughout history.
