Our volunteer geologist will lead your group in a guided exploration of the fossil collection area next to the visitors center. Learn about Nashville’s 400 million year old marine fossils and even take some home with you.

Fort Negley Park is under construction as we implement our Master Plan Phase 1.
>The 1/2 mile park trail remains open. Construction vehicles may be present occasionally.
> Access to the historic fort structure at the top of the hill is closed and is anticipated to reopen late summer.
> Fort Negley Visitors Center remains open normal hours. Any brief interruptions in center access will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
> Parking is very limited. Please carpool if possible.
