Join Minnesotans for Equal Rights on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 as we move Forward Together at the Rally for Equal Rights! On the first day of the legislative session we call on the legislature to swiftly pass the Minnesota Equal Rights Amendment. Minnesotans deserve the opportunity to vote on the most expansive equal rights amendment in the country.
A Minnesota ERA would guarantee that everyone has access to bodily autonomy, equality, and the freedom to live their lives without fear of discrimination. It would explicitly protect against discrimination based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, sex, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
No Minnesotan should be denied rights because of who they are or the community they belong to—and no Minnesotan should be denied the right to vote on the ERA.
